

Setor is a Ghanaian American Author, Playwright & Poet who began writing at nine years old, inspired by an adventurous international upbringing in Accra, Ghana, and Washington D.C.

Setor’s earlier years inspired her culturally diverse writing where she often blends elements of fantasy with social and political commentary.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University Setor moved to New York City where she wrote and directed her first play, “Love, Life & Redemption” which debuted off-Broadway. Setor went on to write “The Cell of Maya Martinez” and “Through Mizan”. Together her plays have toured 30 US cities.

Setor is a recipient of the NYC Cultural Affairs Artist grant and the author of “The Veg-olution of Nia-Simone”.
She loves cooking, fitness, and travel.
